Exactly what you want.

Used on my 14 Ford F-250 SD. This is my second truck I've used them on (also my 03 F-250 SD). The quality is excellent, the parts needed were in the box. Instructions were good, assembly took hours on the way. Towed my 13,000 lb trailer with no problems. Well done Flintstone!

Several friends have recommended Firestone Ride Rite

Attempting to fix the F250 "Squat" that happened when I hooked up my caravan. Several friends recommended the Firestone Ride Rite, which led to my purchase. Did exactly what I wanted, good product. When towing, it only takes about 25psi to straighten the back of the truck and regain the two inches that fell off while hitching. Ideal!

This is a 6.7 kit and not another P/N that often comes up when searching.

I had a previous version of this kit on a 2006 Diesel F250 and wasn't very impressed with the bottom brackets, this version is a huge improvement. Also note that you will need this if you have a diesel. I can't think of another kit with a similar gas engine part number, but it will show up when you search. The difference between the two kits is that the left side bracket has an offset screw and a cutout for the DPF system. It's a 6.7 diesel.

Slow install

I emailed Firestone before I bought the system to see if it compares to my BW gooseneck hitch kit. I was told it is compatible. I was not told that you have to remove most of the BW kit to allow access to install the airbag kit. It ultimately took me seven hours to complete the installation on my 2012 Ford F250 short bed 4x4 crew cab diesel truck. I think I would buy an airbag kit anyway. I just didn't expect so much extra work. In general the kit was complete and of high quality.

Installation is best done in spares

The kit was well assembled and the instructions are very well written. The only problem I had was getting the bottom bracket and saddle mounts together. My 2012 F250 had wider than usual jounce stops and the hardware didn't fit as advertised. After several attempts to increase and decrease the size of the bottom bracket and saddle mounts, I unscrewed two bolts (make sure you have a few extra, I also pre-assembled the bottom bracket and saddle mounts prior to installation). Finally, I installedโ€ฆ

Works well - air suspension kits

It was pretty easy to install. Many online guides (videos on You Tube) show people jacking up a truck. I had no problems installing them. The only issue I had was the sensor on the passenger side, right where the mount should have been. It wasn't mentioned in the instructions I redirected and got it working, but it was a bit of a headache. That could be because I installed a fifth wheel plate from the factory. Overall though, it was a minor issue and I would still recommend it. I agree with the

If I had known then what I know now, I would have done it 3 years ago.

I have to say this product has made a world of difference in the ride of my truck and the handling of the 12,000 pound five wheeled pickup truck I tow. Handling has been improved by a factor of 10, air springs have compensated for travel and stability has greatly improved safety. There are a few installation issues, an extra pair of hands could have helped. Take your time, read the instructions several times and follow the installation procedure. Installation time (take your time) about 4-5โ€ฆ

Great Hauling Upgrade

Revain stated that this kit does not fit my 2014 F350 DRW 4x4 but Firestone identified it as the correct part number. I took a chance and made a purchase. The kit fits with no problems. Everything I've read says 1-2 hours to install. That's a bull****. I installed a fifth S/W hitch and swivel ball (swan neck) on my twin wheel. It took about 6 hours for installation. He is lying on the ground on a concrete path. If I had been taken I probably would have saved every hour. I'm very mechanicallyโ€ฆ

For 2011-2013 F250 4WD Trucks

I've found the best price on these airbags here at Revain and with Revain you can be sure that a specific product is right for your vehicle before you buy. But after going to the Firestones website I knew the 2535 would fit my particular truck but Amazon said it didn't. I could have ordered the Firestone Kit Firestone W217602535 Ride-Rite Kit for Ford F-250/350 Diesel listed here at a higher price but I took a chance and knew I had seen it on the Firestone website , and ordered this one evenโ€ฆ

Pros

Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

The Revain website warned that the Firestone 2535 would not fit my 2012 F250 but the Firestone website gave assumed it would fit, so I bought it. It didn't require drilling and was relatively easy to install. The passenger side was easily accessible and could easily be installed by one person. It took two people on the driver's side to hold the parts and work around the DEF tank. The "P" clip that screws into one of the DEF mounting points needs to be removed with a flathead screwdriver (andโ€ฆ
