FloTool 10701 Spill Multi Purpose Funnel Review

I was trying to tune my aging 97 Geo Metro, I bought a Royal Purple Max-Clean to clean the fuel system and I was looking for some kind of funnel to go around to fill the gas tank with, thought i'd give it a try and it works as expected, highly recommend!

Bought to pour oil straight from a large container into my truck. Yes it is very tight at the base but I expected that. It's plastic and quite long so it's easy to trim to enlarge the bottom hole. The funnel does the same as the funnel. For less than $1.50, I am happy with my purchase.

I guess I'm the typical guy who has the wrong idea of how big something is. This funnel is smaller than I expected. I was hoping to use this to add gas to my tractor from a container that doesn't have a spout, but the opening is too small. This is more for pouring quarts or smaller containers. The funnel is well designed. although it was good for the price.

You can probably get it at your local auto parts store for around $1.50. There are 2 versions of the funnel of this form. I thought it was a large version (your own fault, the measurements are right there in the description). This led me to the local auto parts store where I saw this one for $1.50 and the large one for $5. I hope you read this and save yourself a few bucks.

They are solid except for the entire drain hole. The holes on all three were unfinished, with dangling bits of plastic that came loose at the slightest touch. Definitely nothing I wouldn't want to risk getting in my car/mower. A little fine sandpaper for a minute removed it, but it still shouldn't be necessary. The Harbor Freight models were almost free and they were all neatly made.

This is a decent funnel. I wish the tube was a little longer but it works well enough for what I need it for. I have tried other products and found that they are all about the same size and function so check the prices. The cheapest will work just as well as the more expensive one. In fact I found a set of 3 funnels in a different color for about the same price as this one and they appear to be equally well made. I didn't need that much so I gave a few away to friends.

This funnel was only used to dilute bleach with water to make a 1:32 bleach solution or a 1:10 bleach solution. Works fine, funnel holds bleach well. I've been using it for about 4 years now with no problems. I love that it's thin at the bottom so it fits in any water bottle or gallon pitcher. The reason I use a funnel is because you don't want to waste an expensive product or put it on a shirt that can turn your clothes inside out. White.

I have no doubt Hopkins Mfg Corp threw away this funnel when they sold it for less than a dollar. The adhesive label is so sticky that it will take you half an hour or more to peel it off. You really should remove it as over time the paper label will start to detach from the adhesive and may fall into the container you are pouring into. ADVICE. Use 99% isopropyl alcohol and a good quality orange label thinner to dissolve the adhesive. Then you need a plastic scraper that can withstand a lot of…

I bought this for a small Honda 4 stroke electric generator for backup power. As I VERY rarely use the generator it is important to remove liquids (oil/gas) each time I use it. I needed something small (due to space constraints) and reliable as I don't want flammable liquids to fall in the wrong place on the generator. (Bad combination).
