I bought this because some people around me like to do sketchy things. It works great, it just takes a while to get used to unlocking and locking once you've completely filled your tank. Otherwise I love it

Installed this cap on my 98 Ranger XLT 4.0 single cab gas truck. The old one didn't lock well and the key was a pain. This new lid seals very well, the key may fall out when locking and unlocking. Simple action and I am satisfied with the purchase

Great deal for the price. Works, easy to use and works! I had no problems locking or unlocking. Snap on, tighten and lock to the right (it simply slides in any direction after locking to avoid theft of the gas or cap) and unlock before twisting to the left to remove.

I installed this breather cap but am still not sure if it is used correctly as no instructions came with it. I'll let you know if I let it or not and ask Revane to give the right instructions. I don't seem to have any other place to contact the seller as the seller is Revain.

I used this on my 2017 Forrest River Stealth Toyhauler. I had to guess and also compare with the existing gas caps on my cars. My 1990 Chevy C1500 turns out to have the same threading, and when I put the truck's gas cap on the trailer, it matched. If the thread type fits (some gas caps have a small triangular cutout at the bottom) it will likely fit other trailers as well. I bought this locking gas cap because my two tank truck already had a Stant lock cap. I think Gates is Stant. In any case, the old one still works perfectly, the new one was a DISPOSABLE product! Complete garbage. Replacement requested from Revain. The locking mechanism worked perfectly when used once.
