1993 Yamaha g9 golf cart. The starter looked the same except for the wiring harness. All was going well until the brackets were aligned. Took it back and they were maybe 1/8 inch. Arguing about drilling out braces or trying your luck buying new ones.

This item was advertised as new. No way! Worked only a few hours and died. I removed the back cover and found the brushes were worn out! The copper armature contacts had deep grooves. Nothing that could happen in a few hours of work. I spent a hundred dollars on junk!

I bought some brushes last year to get my old golf cart starter generator running again. I think I'm spending less than $20. It ran again, but only for 6 months. I wish I could pay $107 and get it the first time. The reinstall only took an hour, and now. Person! This thing now works like a fire.!. I am very happy. 5 stars across the board!

**ATTENTION** DO NOT BUY! I bought it in October 2019 and the starter only lasted 1 year. everything died in October 2020 (one year after the warranty expired). I suggest buying elsewhere because I spent over $125 on it and I don't have the money and need to buy a new starter from another manufacturer. Very, VERY disappointed! If I could I would give minus 5 stars!
