Worked great and saved me a ton of money just for .

I didn't have a device that clicked on me, but I melted the plastic with a lighter and pushed the button latch into the hole. Worked great and saved me a lot of money just because of the stupid seat belt button!

Factory new again

Worked well, found on the net how to install. Pass the parts through the seat belt, then place a coin or similar small flat object on each part and then use pliers or a lock to break the parts. There is a plastic post that collapses and forms a riveted joint between the two pieces.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • There are nuances

Works with other belts

Wanted to buy an OEM Dodge replacement and wanted $30! Got 2 of these (2 for me if I screwed up one). Installation was easy as long as I took my time. Use a small ViseGrip to slowly insert the button and baseplate into the belt. After installation, the center column is slightly rounded. I then took an end nail held by ViseGrips and heated the nail head until it was dark (not even a dull red!). I then lightly touched the center post to melt the plastic post into the base plate (like a "hot"…

Not like the original

I have a 2010 Toyota Camry. The stop buttons that came with my car are about 30% larger than the ones I received. Tried to compress them with pliers and ripped on one side. It may be my fault for squeezing too hard, although I don't think that would have happened if it was the right size. "Gray" is also not the same shade of gray as my OEM buttons.

Doesn't snap but works with some "technique "

It doesn't have a snap to hold it in place. I ended up having to melt the connector with a lighter to fix the part. Looks like you'll have to make sure it stays in place. In any case, it worked the way I had it installed and kept the seat belt buckle from falling to the ground when exiting. Under the color of the seat belt too (brown).

maybe not "Original Toyota "

I bought the so-called "Original Toyota" as a replacement. At first glance I thought it was very loose and would likely fall apart without instructions. After installation, the male-female connector was still very loose. I installed this "genuine part" hoping it would work. It lasted two days, then broke free and disappeared. I would return it to the seller if I could but it is not. Keep searching for the best solution.

Pros
  • Molding
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Works and does what it should. Might not last long

Bought for a 2001 Nissan Frontier, Nissan knobs are for some reason very expensive for a small piece of plastic that eventually falls off and is lost. This was the cheapest and when I got it I put it right where it belongs. I could see the mark where the old one was. Fits perfectly, I squeezed it tight and it held up, it looks like it will fall apart with regular use but I think I've read in the reviews that some say you melt the pin that goes through and melt it so it doesn't come off, I can…

Pros
  • Body and Trim
Cons
  • Empty
