Just go to the hardware store

The screwdriver was a joke. It only bent when I tried to use it to loosen the plastic screws. I couldn't use a wrench either as it didn't fit the wing nuts. The pucks worked and the tools make it easy to store and find extra pucks next time. But still. Just buy rubber washers at the hardware store.

  • This is amazing

  • Not bad

Exactly what I needed.

Toilet seat assembly just 10 times easier. Exactly what I needed. Maybe you can use that to remove it before things get too rusty. I hate nylon nuts, I had to burn them last time. Save this for future use. I haven't seen any other washers. Someone said they were in a screwdriver which I didn't use. It's worth buying just the wrench as it's a tricky part or job.

  • Very good value for money

  • No effect

Totally useless

Don't let the reviews fool you. This kit is completely useless. The first. The screwdriver does not fit in the screw slot of the toilet. That is the main reason I bought this set. Typically, a typical screwdriver isn't wide enough and will rip the head off nylon toilet screws. The screwdriver in this set is too thick to fit in the slot, and if it does, it's too narrow to pry off the head of the screw. My wrench didn't fit the screw. The screw is too thick and also it was tilted towards theโ€ฆ

  • Almost never

Good idea but poorly executed. First, the key is NOT universal. Different toilet seats have different fittings. It was too big for the nuts on my toilet. A 5/8 inch deep head would fit, but it was too big. I ended up having to fiddle with pliers to unscrew the old one. This unit was a replacement for the hardware that came with the new toilet seat. However, he didn't like it when I tightened it, which is necessary to eliminate the "wobble" of the toilet seat that he was supposed to eliminate. A

Works as intended - kitchen and bathroom lights

Excellent product. I just ordered a second one today. I have five toilets, all with empty seats. The set contains enough inserts to attach three seats. I would say my only tip would be to include or sell extra inserts to avoid having to buy another set with a second, unnecessary set of tools. Some here have commented that the tools don't work for them. They worked great for me and were more convenient and safer than other tools (safer: you risk damaging or breaking the nylon bolts withโ€ฆ

Not universal tool

I saw an instructional video for a similar item and wanted to try this one as it was a lot cheaper than the one in the video. I can see from the comments that many people don't know how this tool works. The gray plastic element must not be rotated under any circumstances. That's why so many break. It is only intended as a stabilizer to hold the part that goes on the end of the plastic screw. You stick the end in there, hold it with one hand, and screw it in from the top with the red tool. It worked great, here are a few tips

Worked better than I thought. When I replaced the toilet seats a few years ago, I made some plastic bushings (black parts in this photo) to allow the screws to fit the holes in the bowl more tightly. They didn't work. The seat was still wobbly enough to be annoying. Now the seat doesn't wobble anymore since I got rid of my black bushings and installed this kit. Note: I have brass screws holding the seat to the bowl. The included plastic screwdriver will probably work well with plastic screwsโ€ฆ
