Defective around

DEAD! I can't say more, the multimeter confirmed that there was no continuity. Completely disappointed. Should have followed what others said before ordering this.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Vaguely remember

Reliable 24V relay for switches and relays

Good relay at a reasonable price. I use it in my solar setup to enable/disable devices based on whether the solar array is receiving light or not. At 24V it is perfect for all applications and when the sun goes down the relay will switch off. Perfect!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Update available

At least they provide you with a picture of the relay pinout in this ad.

Watch out for the pen. Most of the relay connectors you will need will have pins 87 and 30 opposite each other (including 85 and 86). However, this relay differs in that pins 87 and 30 are NEAREST to each other. The only way to get this to work is to take the wires out of the relay connector and move them to work with THAT relay. Not worth the hassle, so check your plug. Maybe this connector will work with yours if it's wired that way. I have not been able to use it and will not deviate from…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

Didn't work on arrival

I received this bad boy spotless but I put everything together and it didn't work properly. I ran some tests, checked all my wires and finally concluded that the relay isn't working, not my other wires. So I took it apart, and in fact the magnet inside was too far apart. So I managed to fix it and now it works as it should. But I don't think the product should break. Just so you know you might have to take that bad boy down to make it work, if you think it's beyond your head it probably isn't…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some little things

3 DOA in a row and there are NO ISO relays.

Where to start. Let's start by saying this is NOT an ISO RELAY! ISO relays have a specific pinout and functional specification, they do not conform to this specification. The pinout is different so unless you can rewire the relay socket (easy if it's a pigtail mod, not so easy if it's a relay box) they won't work at all in a standard ISO Base. Second, there is only a single pin output, ISO relays have a double pin, and the relay is normally closed on one output pin and switches to the other…

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Minor bugs
