This is a 4A flying capacitor active balancer with no user adjustable parameters or the ability to control its operation. You MUST make sure it is properly connected by measuring the voltage at the plug BEFORE plugging in the device. The device shuts down at 3.0V to prevent attempts to align cells to their lower SOC. I'm using one of these on a 4s lifepo4 pack built with some sketchy Eve lf280 parts I got from a questionable ebay seller. I use these high capacity batteries to replace the lead acid battery I had in my teardrop rig, so durability between charges is incredibly important to me. The BMS I use is the glorified JBD box or Xiaoxing 120a 4s that Overkill Solar sells and their built in balancing circuitry just fights those big cells.
