Mmm, they're fine. Definitely cheap Chinese stuff

I'd say if you plan on using them for leather work or use them a lot, maybe buy something better. I bought them to punch some holes in release paper for engine repairs and such. The language on the packaging was humorous.

Pros
  • tools and household items
Cons
  • tape

Too boring to use as received. Easy to sharpen.

Very dull at reception. Didn't work well as a hole punch on laminated paper/thin plastic label stock. Worked best as cork cutters when mounted on a medium speed drill press. Put a few different sizes in a hand drill set to reverse and spin in the opposite direction of the high speed grinding wheel to sharpen the punch sizes I've used the most. Huge improvement.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • Some problems

Blunt and thin

As mentioned in some other reviews, they arrived blunt. A line was clearly visible along the edge instead of a clean cut edge. After a few uses (I had to cut a few extra holes in some heavy leather straps) the 6mm die (hammer) began to take on an irregular shape. I didn't hit the surface with much force at all. They've worked in a pinch, but as far as their claims that it's heat treated/hardened steel, not much.

Pros
  • Punching
Cons
  • Some minor things
