I've had a couple of these for a few years and they eventually gave up, probably because I don't take very good care of my devices. They are the best! This works great on my 1st gen Bose Sound Dock! I had a hard time finding the right bluetooth adapter but after a few failed attempts I stumbled across this one and it worked. Was very happy to have found a solution for my Bose sounddock which has become a very expensive and obsolete electronic device. Deducted 1 star for the following reasons: it's only available in black (I'd prefer white to match my sounddock) and I don't like the weird female voice that comes out when I turn it on and off -
