I have used this in my dining room to hang curtains - it's lovely, looks more expensive than its price, easy to install - love it! In response to a customer asking how far the bracket protrudes from the wall, here is a photo of the measurement. Everything about this curtain rod is perfect. My window is 140 inches wide, so I was a little worried about how strong the stem would be when fully extended. It's VERY durable. High quality accessories. The bronze color is beautiful. I'm not a very skilled person, but armed with a drill, marker, Phillips screwdriver, and tape measure, I got the job done in about 30 minutes.

I have a floor to ceiling window in my bedroom that is over 10 feet wide. I decided to hang heavy, thick curtains, which required a very strong cornice. Got a 120-240 inch rod and couldn't be happier. I had to purchase an Ikea ceiling mount to support the center but other than that the installation was easy and the stem itself is solid metal which can support the weight of the curtains without sagging. Excellent purchase!

I bought these rods to use with linen curtains made to order. I bought two antique black wands. I started noticing black spots and blemishes on the new curtains. Upon investigating, I found that I could rub the paint off with my fingers and I could see where the spots of paint appeared on the rod when the plastic sleeves were pulled to open and close the curtains (second photo). The "color" is oily, like shoe polish, and also chalky.

I like this curtain rod. It's the perfect thickness with beautiful ends. I ordered another one and immediately sent it back. It was too thin and very thin. This one is excellent. It came with 3 brackets and was very easy to install; HOWEVER, we ended up using different screws and mollies. The ones that were included weren't that high quality. I wouldn't deduct stars because the rod itself is so great. I definitely recommend it.

Very simple and easy to install! I bought them in black and antique black. They look beautiful but are affordable. I recommend that you don't use the maximum size allowed unless absolutely necessary. I ordered 28" to 48" for our 40" wide window but if you want the curtain to hang a little over the window its max width was 48", the middle will be a little thin so have we increase the size.
