No complaints. - Head protection

Excellent helmet. I had an old HF and this one works much better. The lens dims instantly, the setting is great. Used this with a TIG welder and I couldn't be happier. I wish it had external shields that have to be ordered separately, but that doesn't matter. The graphics are cool and quite comfortable. No complaints.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Works well, good price.

Excellent hood in its price range. It would sometimes flicker at low amperage of 50 or less during TIG welding. Worked great with more power. Very clear glass, good window size. The headgear was comfortable, but with long hair, it sometimes pinched the hair at the whorl. Ouch! A good hood for beginners or a hood for amateurs. I wore it 10+ hours a day continuously for a year and will continue to use it, but my company has upgraded me.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing

Excellent Helmet: Welding Helmets

I used to have a cheap HF helmet and had problems with it that randomly flashed me. Decided to buy this when buying TIG and it worked great. It dims when needed and lights up again at the set time. The helmet is made of very flexible plastic and will hopefully last a long time. If I have any complaints, it's that after a while the belt causes pain in the back of my head; maybe because I shaved my hair off so no padding. I think a welding cap under the helmet will probably solve this problem.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good price! suitable for personal protective equipment

This hood is not the lightest I have ever used. But for the price I'm very happy with it. The view through the lens is very clear. The controls are easy to operate with gloves. The shell is more flexible, more like hard rubber than hard plastic. But it holds its shape and I think it will take a beating better thanks to the hard shells that most cooker hoods have. The graphics are crisp and somewhat retro/old school; what I like. All in all a great performance hood without the Miller or Lincoln…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Very expensive

Don't skimp on the best in security

It's the little things that make you feel like you've spent your money well. For example a bag you can't wear this pose in, or interchangeable clear lenses that weren't included. I ended up gluing leather to the underside of the hood to avoid neck burns from poor design. Shit headdress tears his hair out. There's only one position to latch (all the way back), it's flimsy and often falls off. Spend the extra money on a good range hood, I've used several, they're rubbish. You'll be under that…

  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • Negativity is present

Nice helmet but not perfect

Good: very clear, easy to use controls and settings, good reliable shading, a little longer to better cover the underside of the chin. By far my biggest complaint is how you change lenses. Instead of having the lens slide out to the front, you have to remove the entire shade assembly through the back to insert the front lens. It wouldn't be a big problem if it actually came across the way it was supposed to. The small latches cannot be loosened at all and have to be loosened very carefully but…

Questionable wear resistance of some parts.

Love it. That's easy. To be honest I think you are paying for the lens. Filter. Whatever you call it. I like the design. Evil Kenevil-ish check it out. However, I am using a Lincoln Electric Series 3350. My job called for that. The 3350 Viking series is stronger and more comfortable to use. This hood appears to be physically weaker. I could have spent the same money on a better product. It's easier to remove the lens in my Lincoln. it feels Breaking nerves lol. I have a feeling I'll break the…

first professional hood. Includes 2 week update

so far I have received these and no complaints except I did not receive these without outer and inner replacement lenses which was odd. I've bought dozens of lens hoods and this is my first time not getting a few. well, the quality of this hood leads to that question. The on-screen digital controls for adjusting hue, sensitivity, delay and grind/weld mode were very satisfying. has a nice strong appearance, a little heavy but not bad. The headpiece is excellent, comfortable. a slick ratchet…
