Best Value in Socket & Head Kits

I liked the price but the design isn't great if you are looking for a heavy duty auto repair kit. Customer service was great and they responded quickly to my concerns. If you are looking for a set for light work this is fine but not for heavy use. In the end it's worth it and you can get it if you just need something portable to tinker with lighting technology from time to time.

Pros
  • Perfect for Outdoor Activities

Nice set, too bad they skimped on part numbering without sockets

23-06-20 For some reason they skipped numbering about 90% of the sockets with bits. This means if you take more than one out of the case and put it back in, you won't know where it went. Also, they had to stamp the chrome portion of the sockets with bits so you could see what the dimensions are or where they go back into the case. As for how they actually work, I'll update them after I've used them.

Pros
  • Best in class

Super cheap housing, empty compartments, typical Amazon crap

This is the usual crap straight from China. The case is so flimsy that it can literally be deformed with your fingertips. The sockets themselves are VERY loose on the ratchet and/or extensions - almost certainly a wobbly socket. It's just incredibly cheap. It will probably work. Will it last, no, probably not. I just bought it to have something for a quick fix. If I specifically started a project on my bike or car, it wouldn't be me.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far, so good

Cheap tools that feel like cheap tools

I've had this for a little over a year and have only used it a few times. Out of the box everything was fine, but now the hex bits won't snap onto the ratchet and can (and do) pop out without warning, usually falling to the ground and hopefully out of sight. I've used this kit to assemble cheap furniture and do some bike maintenance. Everything was fine at best. The best I can say about it is that it's cheap, but cheap tools always act like cheap tools and work just like them. It might be fine…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

It works. But it could have been better.

Honestly I like it. I keep it in my car in case I ever need it in place of my big 1/2" drives. lower half would be better. Some things are loose and love to bounce. If I have a nut on a ratchet and one of the blades on a screwdriver then close the case when I move parts and gear, when I open it the nut sometimes swap places and this little double hex likes to bounce around. Socket numbers are difficult to read. I could get something to fill in the engraving to make it easier to read. The case…

  • I won't say anything

Does exactly what I needed

To be honest I only bought this set because I needed a 5mm hex in a 1/4" socket and I decided to To double my chances of getting it fast during Covid19 ordering this set as well as a branded 1/4" 5mm socket head socket with an indefinite delivery date. I was fixing a car and broke a 5mm T-handle hex and bent another 5- mm hex wrenches at right angles when I decided I needed a new approach. The previous two broken hex tools also influenced my decision to order two replacement hex sockets for the…
