Quality salt at an affordable price

I'm so glad they no longer sell this product in bags; a plastic container with a lid is much more practical. A few weeks ago I moved to a new home with my Jack Dempsey (who is over 5 years old) and this salt has really helped him settle down. I don't think he would have turned pale without this salt either.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Everything is great

Great product for goldfish and comets.

I bought this for two of my Comets. One of them I'm sure had Ik. He was very thin and sickly and showed all the other symptoms as well. but too fat. the stomach will be very bloated. My reading said that this condition is usually fatal. Two things cured them both: this salt and a water change twice a week. 30-50% water changes and a tablespoon of salt each time for a 5 gallon aquarium. I'm glad I was able to save my fish. :)

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Fits

Salt these wounds

I have a talking fish. We were chatting the other day, as we often do, and I was told that this salt would alleviate everyday stress as a fish. At first I didn't believe them. I mean why do some freshwater tetras need salt in their water? Then the biggest tetra, which we call Puppy, came to me with a clear conscience. He insulted one of the other tetras we call cats. Why do we name our fish pup and kitten? Because we actually wanted a dog and a cat, but got these fish instead. Any. The puppy…

Pros
  • The best of my niche

It saved my life!

I have an active filtration system in my aquarium but I'm fed up with a few things including very frequent water changes (I did it weekly and went every other day), anti-stress coating, other medications , and it gradually got worse and worse. At this point, although he only had a few days left (that was over a period of about 4 weeks), he was sitting on his butt not eating, his body curved in a crescent shape but his gills kept moving. Its tail and fins are completely rotted. I put the maximum

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
