This is a great work station container. I add my acetone and can quickly grab it and apply a small amount to what I'm working on and do it with one hand!

I received this item for Christmas 2011 but had used it for a long time before then. If you use a liquid cleaner (like kerosene) in your studio, this is a handy (and appropriate) dispenser. I don't want to be without him. The plastic is very thick. The metering shaft made of brass is well made and runs smoothly.

Ideal for desktop solvent picks where tipping and spills can be a problem. My local fire inspector likes it too. Easy to fill, easy to dose and very durable construction. I think that will accompany me for many, many years. I would buy again if needed.

I use this for dispensing Hoppes #9 on cleaning pads and brushes and it works great. Much less waste or product contamination than other methods. I would rate it 5 stars if it came with neoprene gaskets or o-rings which I used in place of the flimsy white foam pads that came with the kit.
