Very disappointed with this product. The holes on the fairlead were not as wide as those on the mounting plate. It's impossible to fit him. The plate is so poorly made that the U-bolts that came with the mounting plate didn't fit in the holes they were drilled for. It's a shame that it's an American production, I would have expected less from a Chinese one.

Worked great for installing an HB Badlands 2500 winch on my '07 Kawasaki Prairie 2x4. I agree with the other reviewer that installing the winch seems easier once the plate is installed. For those who have had trouble inserting plate bolts, grab a mallet or mallet and do some love tapping. Come in easily. Where each stud goes is a whole longer and start there. There were no problems and installation was easy.

This is a quality piece of steel, well made, clean, nicely powder coated. I didn't read the reviews so I didn't realize the winch would be fitted upside down. It wasn't a problem for me, just unexpected. I just installed it myself (although I installed the mount, then the winch, then the pulley and the instructions say to put the mount last, but it turned out to be a lot more difficult). Fits perfectly on my Kawasaki 360. As others have said, U-bolts are not a constant width. I had to move one of them apart to fit the holes in the panel. The other 3 fit well. I used plastic wire ties to hold the bracket in place while installing the U-bolts as it is difficult to hold while installing the U-bolts. It seems odd that the winch is mounted upside down, but this way it leaves a large area for air to flow directly to the oil cooler. The flat plate helps direct air into the oil cooler.
