The bucket heater allowed us to get to our pool faster.

The bucket heater heated the water well. The pool was ready much sooner than just waiting for the sun to heat the water by itself. Thanks to the bucket heater, we were able to use the pool in two days instead of about a week.

Heat in Intex Spa - Rough Plumbing

Intex Spa only outputs 102-104f and my beautiful fiancee prefers 108+. This heater increases the temperature at a rate of 3* per hour. ATTENTION! No thermostat [sold separately]. So set the alarm to go off manually or it could be catastrophic, I have no intention of finding out. As shown in the picture, I cut out a 2" piece of blue foam to float 4" off the ground. so there can be no damage.

WORKS VERY WELL! USE 2 FOR HOT BATH

We bought this because the heater in our 4 person hot tub stopped working. This works pretty well, but I think 2 would be better suited for this purpose to heat it up faster. I'll order another one right away. For the price, this is a great option. We used a piece of wood to hang them in the hot tub without submerging them completely. In addition, the outer metal (with holes) does not heat up! This is a great feature!

I am writing this 10 months later.

While I give this review 5 stars, at the time of purchase I didn't realize there was money for a similar product (at a lower price) with more performance at the same price. I bought this to heat wash water to 140 degrees to reduce dust mites (and allergies). It takes a few hours to heat a washing machine to 140 degrees with 100 degree water, but it's worth it. Even the washing machine didn't damage it in any way (I can tell in 10 months). Next time I would choose 1500w as it will reduce the…

In my experience, this is a poor quality heater that doesn't last long.

I have worked in our family carpet cleaning business for 37 years and we have always used 3 gallon heaters. Bucket of clean clear water. This is my third bucket heater in seven months and it just stopped working. They are clean with no limescale deposits and each spent an average of less than 60 hours before dying (1 hour per day, 3-4 days per week). We have had other heaters in continuous use in recent years. I've been researching and trying to find someone to help me solve this issue in…

Garage Suitable

I live in a colder climate in PNW. I tested the temperature rise on a 3 gallon bucket containing 2 1/2 gallons of water. This amount of water fills the bucket high enough to completely cover the shielded portion of the immersion heater. Garage temp was 55, water temp 60 and heated 2 1/2 gallons to 140 in 35 minutes. So a little faster than 2 degrees per minute. I use it to heat water for washing cars and washing hands. Usually 20-25 minutes will make the water warm enough. UPDATE: I don't know…

This heater brings water almost to the boil. Highly recommended!

I run an auto repair shop. I built a washing machine out of a Kitchen Aid dishwasher. I have used this heater to heat my tank to keep it portable, ready to go and able to recycle the washer fluid after each use. I have a built in hot water pump to circulate the water while it heats up. let me tell you This thing will heat about 25 gallons of water from 70ºF to 130ºF in about 2 hours. In combination with the InkBird ITC-308 thermostat, this is the perfect complement. They perfectly regulate any…

Perfect for warming up a bath!

I bought this because *I* love a bath, but the water in my apartment is a little warmer than warm; Uncomfortable for showering but impossible for bathing. I had an accident carrying boiling water upstairs to heat water (I love baths), it could have been a lot worse but I was so scared I never did it again. Despite my general hesitation about the power/water combo, I decided to give it a try and am very glad I did. Although I think the temp is high enough for most people after 30 minutes or an…

I use it to heat a small bathtub that I use outside.

Was really impressed with how quickly he could heat a 4 gallon bucket of cold water. It took about 10 minutes to cook. I use it to heat a small bathtub that I use outside. When submerged directly in the bathtub, it took her about five hours to burn herself from cold tap water. (I have no idea how many gallons my tank is, but it's about 2 feet wide, 3 feet high, and 4 feet long). Obviously I'm not sitting in the heater when the heater is submerged in it, I wait for it to reach temp and then hold
