I opened two of the five Knitters Pride replacement cords in the pack that I bought from Revain and found that the mounting holes on both cords don't match all the way . I have several of these cords and the pins go straight through to hold the needles securely while knitting. When I tried to attach the cords to my knitting needles I couldn't keep the needles attached and my knit fell off after a few rows/rounds of knitting. Very uncomfortable, especially on a project! Please note the sizes shown are not exact. First, the sizes advertised include an extra 8 inches for the needles they are designed to use. Second, the blue wire is actually only 1 inch longer than the yellow one, but is stated to be 4 inches longer. I have a set of knitting needles that I like, but over time there has been a slight gap between the metal and wood on the knitting needles that I use most. In the end I wanted something made out of metal. You are perfect. As you can see, Knitter's Pride vs. Knit Picks have a plain needle for attaching the cord.
