No quality control

I only bought this punch set because I have one large 4.0mm hole punch needed to punch holes in the leather to make the bowstring. I tried to poke a 3.0mm hole in the skin but it didn't even cut a layer. I just have a dent in my skin. On examining a 4.0mm punch, I saw that the cutting edge only protrudes 1/4 around the hole, the rest of the cutting edge is blunt. I'll leave the punches and try sharpening 4.0mm. Maybe I can reduce it with some fine tuning. In addition, the exquisite appearance…

Clean Holes, Professional Results

So glad I chose these over a rotary press punch have. I've seen some comments about how difficult they can be to use. This was my first time using a hiking device with a harness and I am very happy with the results. Be ready to tap with a hammer and make sure you're on a surface you won't damage. I did this on a countertop with a small legal pad underneath to keep the counter from chipping. The hardest part will be aligning the holes. Making holes is easy. You will type. But I also tried not to

Improves my projects

I'm new to leatherworking and don't want to spend a lot of money on tools I may not need. These hole punches are great, they make my projects look so much better than the holes I made with an awl. I should have bought them earlier.

Pros
  • ★ Dimensions are on the leather stamping tool
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Nice leather punch for holes

I bought this set hoping it would help me punch some holes in a silicone watch band. Silicone is very "spongy" and doesn't look like leather at all. Luckily I managed to reach my goal, although it took more hits than with leather. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Pros
  • ★ Punch set for punching holes in gaskets, leather, plastic, canvas, vinyl, rubber and other soft materials
Cons
  • Available in white only

No quality assurance

I only bought this set of hole punches because I needed a large 4.0mm hole punch to punch holes in leather to make a bowstring. Cut through a layer. I have just a dent in the skin When I inspected the 4.0mm punch, I saw that the cutting edge only expanded about 1/4 around the hole, the rest of the edge was dull. I'll check the punches leave it and try to sharpen 4.0mm maybe I can cut it with some fine tuning .Also the exquisite look of the dies as shown in the promotional picture is not what I…

Pros
  • ★ Set of 6 leather punches, sizes (in): 1/16", 5/64", 3/32", 1/8", 9/64", 5 /32'
Cons
  • Don't remember
