Description of Lisle 37160 Disconnect Pliers - Enhanced SEO

Low-profile design with 85 degree bend allows the tool to fit between the top of the fuel tank and vehicle. Works great on Delphi two Tab connectors and some import vehicles. Can also be used on some electrical connectors. Fit type: Universal Fit.

This tool worked great in tight spaces

These pliers worked well in my situation, bending two clips 90 degrees to remove the fuel line connector on my car. There was very little room to work with, and the curved jaws allowed me to reach and remove the plug when similar straight pliers wouldn't fit.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Having trouble

Too bulky to be very effective

A little disappointed with this tool by Lisle. Due to their design, you need a lot of space to get the pliers in the right position. to disconnect the fuel lines on top of the gas tank, which I couldn't do due to the limited space. Also, most of the fuel lines (disconnectors) are either under the car (attached to the underside of the chassis) or in the engine compartment (attached to the bulkhead). In most cases I use Speedwox pliers.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember

makes the job easier, best tool ever

I tend to break brittle tabs in connectors when working with my old cars. I mean it happens almost every time. Well, not anymore. This tool makes it so easy. Truly the best instrument I've bought in ages. Today I changed the hubs, it was necessary to disconnect the ABS sensor and this tool made the task easier. I replaced a broken dashboard yesterday and had to unplug some electrical connectors from the dashboard; no problem. This tool is amazing. Must be from now on.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Lisle tongs

I just received these tongs but have already decided I want to keep them for a long time. For the type of liquid lines it is intended to remove it must be very effective. No more fumbling with screwdrivers to hold two tabs at once when disconnecting a line. I'm sure there are other ports it would be useful for. In my opinion it can press on the latches that hold the shift knob on my Jeep's 5 speed T5 while it's disengaging. If it is simultaneous suppression then there must be many applications.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Where have you been?

If you've ever dealt with old hardened plastic plugs, you know how frustrating it can be when you press the power-off tab and hear a loud click. It breaks your heart and sometimes your wallet. Pinning a broken tongue to a fork that won't snap is agony. You have to get a new one, unpin the old one, and pin the new one back on. If you're older and have arthritis in your hands, unplugging those electrical connectors is awful, I can't squeeze them tight enough, and the needle nose pliers can't get…

Pros
  • 1-year trial version
Cons
  • Available in white only
