It's quiet and easy to install

I replaced the built-in vortex fan in the original box with a white cover. This fan was only one speed and very noisy, it sat in my 5th wheel bathroom and always looked dirty. The new fan cover looks much nicer. I did not purchase the bathroom fan remote control model. You simply reach forward and open it, press the fan button to your desired speed and the off button to stop it. Evan at speed 4 is so quiet compared to the Vortex Fn I had before.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Loudness

Goods with serious damage. No support :/

I ordered this a few months ago. More than 3 months ago but just got around to installing it. A serious dent and a large crack in the body were found on one of the corners. No small incident. I thought the forklift hit the pallet and they repacked it because the crate was intact. I can't seem to contact the service and warranty department because the automated message tree contains too many numbers for this extension. (574) 4247-9253. I assume they are doing this on purpose and will not offer…

  • Quality construction

Working on maxxair swing!

I liked the fan, but there are several problems. The first fan we got had blades that wobbled and cracked at any speed. We sent it back. The second fan has the same oscillation but no noise. Now the noise has returned. We are part-time Overlanders and have settled into our van. My husband adjusted the fan a bit and the friction noise is minimal but still there. And we didn't have a remote, and we don't need it. For the price this is a good deal. Bottom line, it works like a wind tunnel and…

Quality item: camper parts and accessories

The piece of ventilation grille that was fitted to my caravan deteriorated after a year (despite having covered the ventilation grille it was blown off while driving - what was left was dirty , fragile yellow plastic - on a one year old trailer!). Replaced with this fan that I installed myself. The hardest part of the install was scraping the Dicor sealant off the original fan box. Installing Maxxair couldn't be easier. In addition, the fan is quiet. At low volume, it's not even audible unless…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Awesome fan - ventilation

This fan sucks! Literally. WOW! What a great fan. With the window ajar and the fan on the lowest setting, I can change the air in my camper in about three minutes. One minute up. I got this fan through a special Revain sale in early March for $108. So glad I did when the price went up $60 in May. I saved even more money with this fan by buying a cheaper exhaust only version and adding the intake myself with a simple SPST on/off/on switch. Add a reversal to the Maxxair fan tutorial video on…

  • Decent performance

Easily make it fully reversible with a $3

Wow! Spend an hour and save $100. I didn't need a remote control or a 10-speed fan with a complicated and troublesome control board. This 4 speed fan works amazing. I bought two and just installed them and also installed a rain cover (sold separately). I've added some pictures of the 6 pin dpdt switch I installed to make it fully reversible. You just need to connect the wire that goes from the on/off control board to the motor and route it to the middle pins of the new switch. See the first…

Pros
  • 6-pin switch. Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Low maintainability

I have tested both MaxxAir 4401K and Fan-tastic 1200 fans I plan to install on a 2018 Ram Promaster City with a very well thought out 1" ceiling. Both at a very affordable price of around $110. get to the wires on the motor side and I plan to even add a rocker switch to use as a fan or breather. The Fatastic has 5" roof side clearance versus 4" for the MaxxAir. This was very important for me and my roof rack, which only has 4.5" of free space. MaxxAir just looks more unobtrusive and discreet…

  • Test for one year
