This converter device is a complete waste of money for anyone who wants to upgrade their TV to digital. Even though I followed the instructions, I had a really hard time setting it up. Electronics shouldn't be this complicated. Through trial and error, I found that the picture quality was terrible and the sound was out of sync. The only positive thing about this product is that it's cheap. But, when it comes to quality, you get what you pay for.

I bought this model because it has a separate power supply. All TV converters on the market are of the same poor quality. Those that don't have a separate power source get hot and only run for a couple of months before the internals burn out. I opened them up after they stopped working and there was significant heat damage inside. Such devices are flammable and should not be sold. This device is supplied without batteries.
