Attention - this requires a license!

the switches are great but the seller didn't mention that they require a meraki go subscription and don't know how to get it

Pros
  • looking forward to
Cons
  • sad packaging

Works great with networking products

This internal access point works great. It can slice through walls with ease and won't slow down when using multiple devices simultaneously (depends more on your internet connection speed). I had no problems with this device and am very happy with it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

Good wireless access point

Works well after setup. Setup was complicated by the account setup process not sending an email to verify the user. I've been working with support for a week to resend an email. Use of the phone app is allowed, but you cannot make changes from your computer to the cloud like you can with any other Meraki device - only with the phone app.

Pros
  • Long range
Cons
  • Uncertain

Good upgrade for computers and accessories

Very happy with the performance, I have a lot of wireless devices (40+). Set up 3 different SSIDs for my home. I had to wait a few minutes while the settings synced from the cloud. The instructions were not very detailed. Need some IT tech/knowledge of Wi-Fi setup. The Wi-Fi range may be a little less than the Almond-branded Wi-Fi/router it replaced, but the connection quality has greatly improved.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons

Great price, poor management

So far so good. These access points are identical to the Cisco Meraki MR20 access points; They even use the same plastic moldings and metal brackets. Functionally it was amazing. Rating loses one star due to exclusive control over mobile devices. When your price competitor is Ubiquity (with a full cloud management suite), managing customer networks from smartphones is ridiculous. Still great products. Exactly what I expected from Meraki products.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No

Easy to set up. Easy to use. LOVE the app!

I recently started working full time from home and my old system, which I won't name, wasn't working. Meraki Go has been fantastic since I installed it myself three days ago. I preferred the internet for video calls and everyday work, and the performance boost was immediately noticeable. My kids are homeschooled and broadcast endlessly on the second network so my work doesn't suffer. Setup was very easy and I enjoy making changes from my phone. The application is great!

Pros
  • Happy so far

Anything but simple and reliable. Disappointing

I have been using Meraki products at work and home office for many years with the help of an IT professional for setup. If you have that kind of support, Meraki has great products. Now I'm self-sufficient and I was hoping that Meraki Go would offer an easy-to-use customization format. But that's not the case. The phone app works pretty well for setup and gave me a local hotspot cable extension to the garage office. My attempt to add a remote access point (wireless) failed. I've tried contacting

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Minor issues

Business Class WiFi. a network that just works. perfect!

Before buying the Meraki Go set, I tried 2 different net systems at home. The other two seem to be working fine, with a few hiccups here and there. But then, during the "pandemic” period, with 7 people at home and a few wifi devices, I started losing a lot of connections, kids complaining that their online classes were being cut, TVs that again had to connect to WiFi, restarted routers, etc. I bought a Meraki Go router (also a security device) and 2 such access points. 1 access point is wired…

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • vulgarity
