coolant shut-off valve? May be.

Bought a pair of these to insulate our RV's heater core if the need ever came up. 3 months after installation, one of the valves on the swivel shaft is leaking. Too bad.

Pros
  • Valves
Cons
  • So far so good

Minor crack but still worked great

Mine broke around the stem where the knob turns but I didn't notice until I installed it so couldn't return it. It actually still works and doesn't leak, that's great!

Pros
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing
Cons
  • Thin

No leaks months later

I installed a couple of these a foot down from the intake manifold in the heater hoses on my 1999 Chevy 5.7 van so either the core or 30 feet of steel tubing or hoses fail I can do the whole thing Shut down the system and continue on my way

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • There are new competitors
