The product is excellent, but it is difficult to replace

This gate lock is the best product! We love having it on our front gate as it's too far from home to use an electric gate lock. This one is perfect. Everyone who needs access to our property has their own code (including Fire Department/Sheriff/911). We have enjoyed security and privacy with Mighty Mule for many years. The only problem is that the keyboard itself needs to be replaced. After years of daily use, the inserted digits stopped sticking, so we ordered a new keyboard to use with the…

Programmed with Customer Service

I have recently purchased several Mighty Mule products: MM260 lightweight gate opener, 10w solar panel kit, electronic gate lock, pin lock, about 5 extra transmitters and 2 of these keypads. . The gate was installed and worked perfectly for about a month. But when I tried to program my keyboards, I encountered a problem. I followed the instructions and successfully "learned" my transmitter and then successfully changed the master code. The problem was that they did NOT serve my gate. It was a…

Mighty FRUSTING

I bought two of these to replace two old Mighty Mule keyboards I installed on our ranch three years ago. The old blocks worked great, but after three years they both weathered and started to wear out from UV exposure, so I decided to take the initiative and replace them before anything went wrong. I also bought two new remote controlled gate openers to fit our vehicles. I've set the DIP switches in the remotes to the same settings as our old remotes (they still work fine too), but. These new…

Top Secret Programming Guide for latest drives (MM271/371/571 etc.)

I bought this keyboard a few years ago and never used it. I bought a new gate opener (MM517W) in early June 2020 and decided to replace my old weathered keypad, it was the same model only older FM137s, with a new unopened one. I never had any problems with the old keyboard. Today I tried to install the keyboard. The guide for the new keyboard is exactly the same as on the mighty Maultier website. The problem is that the instructions are not compatible with the latest models of electromechanical

Poor technical design and support

I purchased this item to use in a battery powered wired control scenario but found that there was no way to get it to work. Also, there is little to no information in the user guide, and there was no online support. I'm a circuit designer and familiar with debugging electrical systems, so my complaints are corroborated by the (tedious waste of time) debugging circuit boards from their PCB with an oscilloscope and setting jumpers manually. The user manual claims that wired control is possible…
