Poor Quality or Defective Product

3/20/18FYII received this back wrap in mail today. After opening package I microwaved the wrap 1 minute and 30 second. This was completed in reference to package instructions for 1st use. When removing the wrap from microwave, approx. 1000's of tiny beads spilled on to my floor. It took approx. 1 hour to clean up the mess. My dog still keeps finding the beads on the floor. I Don't know if I will ever get them all up.My questions:WHAT THE CRAP? Is the quality of the this wrap defective or are…

Pros
  • it hold the heat all night long
Cons
  • Can only be heated in a microwave, limiting the ease of use

Change in quality?: my feedback

Replaced several of these from a couple of years back (lost in flood). The quality seems different.much stiffer, and as a consequence, does not wrap as well. Also does not seem to 'steam' as well when heated. It never lasted a long time, but was a great quick moist heat source. Maybe my old ones were like this when received and I am just not remembering.but I really don't think that's the case.

Pros
  • Heats up in microwave in a little over a minute.
Cons
  • May not provide consistent heat throughout the entire wrap

Good product until it's not

Until the fabric burns within a year of use, it's a good product. A year of regular use, per it's instructions, shouldn't preclude that it's disposable. Best Buy refused my ability to return or be refunded so what's the point? After contacting the parent company, this is their response.basically it is a disposable product. Their words."On the insert included in the packaging it does state that with daily use it is recommended to replace around 6 months. If you have any additional questions, I…

Pros
  • Feels great on sore, achy muscles and joints
Cons
  • Could be too cumbersome for those who need to use the restroom frequently

Replacement for old heating pad

I thought I would buy the same type heating pad as I had. I love the fact you can microwave it and don't have to worry about burns if you fall asleep with it. The only thing I dislike is the flaps. I thought they would have something like Velcro to secure it around your back, etc., but nothing. I guess you are supposed to tie it, which is way too uncomfortable. If I would of know this about the flaps I would of bought the same one I already had. The heating pad works great though.

Pros
  • I love this product ! I can adjust placement because of attached strings !
Cons
  • Ties may not secure properly, causing the wrap to shift during use

Doesn’t last long for my opinion

It was easy to use and comfortable. However, one of the compartment got a hole within one month and the beads are everywhere and unable to use now. I had the same product bought from store previously and used it for years.

Pros
  • Perfect for athletes and active individuals looking for pre- or post-workout heat therapy
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with heat intolerance

I bought this product over 2 years ago and I have used it for the various sores, sprains, and what have yous that occur when you play sports or work out or lift things or yadda yadda. This moist heat pad has been used countless times, but for purposes of the review I'll try to count: about 75-100. I think it would have lasted many more years, but unfortunately made the mistake of microwaving it with a little moisture, either from my hand being wet or perhaps there was some moisture within the…

Pros
  • Pain Relievers
Cons
  • The wrap may not be machine washable or easy to clean

Effective wrap for the price

I have chronic back pain and wanted a more cost effective way of wearing a heated back wrap. I had been using thermacare wraps, which are great, but also expensive. This wrap delivers a nice, moist heat. The only downside is that the heat only lasts about 30-40 minutes. If you have access to a microwave, it is not a problem. The ties on the wrap are also very comfortable. The wrap basically pays for itself in a short time compared to using thermacare.

Pros
  • This is a repeat purchase, since I was so happy with previous ones.
Cons
  • May take a while to heat up enough to use

I really like these. I got them for my awful period .

I really like these.I got them for my awful period cramps and it's better than a hot water bottle because I can tie it around my waist, so when I lay down, it stays on my stomach instead of falling down like a hot water bottle. I can also walk around the house with it, which I can't do with a hot water bottle. It holds heat for a little while, not as long as I'd like, so I will need to microwave it again. One thing I wish it had was velcro instead of tie straps. Since it has tie straps, they…

Pros
  • Provides deep, penetrating heat for maximum relief
Cons
  • Could be too warm for use in hot or humid climates

Warm and comfortable and helps the back pain

We have two of these now. One for each of us when we get up in the morning. It’s the first thing we both grab to warm the aches and pains. I keep it on quite a while for warmth and comfort.

Pros
  • Made with high-quality, durable materials for long-lasting use
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility

Not expensive and durable!

This is the second time in many years I have purchased this product. Due to a recent back injury I needed to use it a lot and needed a back up when the original heating pad needed washing. It only takes 60 seconds to heat up to a perfect temperature for my aching back muscles. I like the fact it has ties to allow me to attach it to myself while I am moving around the house or in my car. It is the only one I have found that allows it to be rewashed multiple times. It is as durable as the brand…

Pros
  • Easy to hear in micro. Use this on my shoulder and my back
Cons
  • May not be able to target specific areas for heat therapy

Hot but not for long.

I was hoping this would stay hot longer. It comes out of the microwave "hot" but does not last. Hate the cord with electric especially at night when I like to use mine so that part is great.

Pros
  • Versatile - can be used on other areas of the body, such as the knees or ankles
Cons
  • Could interfere with clothing or other accessories during use

Relaaaaaxx - my new review

I've owned a Thermalon Moist Heat Therapy Wrap for about three years and have been extremely happy with it. I loaned it to a friend who kind of trashed it, so I decided to get another one for myself and one for my daughter. I have mid- and low-back pain much of the time and the Thermalon makes an amazing difference when I heat it and either tie it to my back or place it on my back or neck when laying on the sofa or bed. My daughter is ecstatic about this product and said she's been using it…

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • Could create a fire hazard if overheated in the microwave

lasted 2 months: my feedback

Really like the ease of using this wrap. Gave relief is several areas. BUT only 2 months and a hole burst forth with all those beads! Have used other brands with better success.

Pros
  • Perfect for individuals who suffer from chronic pain
Cons
  • May slip or shift during sleep, potentially causing discomfort

Fantastic relief for back pain

My wife is 5-months pregnant with twins and started to experience major back pain. For a couple of weeks, we were using one of those blue hot/cold gel packs where we had to boil the water, put the gel pack in for a few minutes, then wrap it around a towel and I would have to apply it. The warmth of the gel pack lasted no longer than 8-10 minutes. Then, I was doing some research on heating pads and found this. Incredible! Although the instructions states that we should heat it in the microwave…

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • May not provide enough coverage for larger body types

Heat up quickly in the microwave

I use this product often around my lower back and sometimes my shoulder. It heats quickly in the microwave. I like not having to plug the heat pad in so I can move around the house doing chores. Great product!

Pros
  • EASY TO USE: Simply microwave and apply directly to the affected area without the hassle of any wires, water, waiting or mess; The 7 x 12 Inches therapy wrap with ties is perfect for use at home, the office or to carry when travelling
Cons
  • May not be suitable for users with pacemakers or other medical devices

Bargain at any price

Second time to buy this. Firstl one lasted through 7 years of heavy use. Fabric finally became frayed at seam and small pellets leaked out. Easy to wrap and secure around lumbar area (andi am big girl; and around ankles , foot and neck.

Pros
  • Can help improve blood flow and promote healing
Cons
  • Could cause sweating or discomfort during use

1 year and still love it

It's been 1 year since I bought it and I'm still using it on daily basis. I have chronicle backpain and it definitely helps (I know don't expect anything to completely cure my backpain after so many years). It's no hassle to use it, -- throw that in microwave for 1:30 mins and it's ready. And I just wrap the straps around my chest and tie them, and for most of the parts, they stay, -- lower back, neck, shoulder, middle of the upper back. I found it difficult to make them stay at the sides of my

Pros
  • An affordable solution for those looking for effective pain relief
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions, such as diabetes or circulation issues

Moist Heat Wrap: my feedback

This product is very good. Heats up evenly and holds heat for awhile. It really is moist heat! The only improvement on it would be some velcro on the straps so you don't have to tie it. But I will do that myself eventually. Last one I had did have the velcro and it was very snug and didn't move when fastened. But there is a drawback to velcro too. Once when I heated it up in the microwave, the velcro rested directly on the bag and put a hole in the fabric (fabric was thin). So if you attach…

Pros
  • SAFE REUSABLE MATERIAL: The wrap is 7" x 12" and is made of a soft, safe, non toxic and odor free material; The heating pad for aches and pain features ties to allow movement during treatment. It is reusable and can be hand washed
Cons
  • Could potentially leak or become messy with extended use

Oh my aching back best in my review

It is the best pain reliever have a bad back for a long time when pain becomes active I turn to my Thermalon and it relieves the pain

Pros
  • Great for pain relief and very easy to use.
Cons
  • The heat may dissipate quickly, requiring frequent reheating
