I love this powerful, handy tool. But I don't think the cops do that.

The product is a real walnut. Well built of steel and aluminum. Works well on young cows. I particularly like the fastener on the bottom, which locks the pliers in place and frees two hands. Sometimes it takes two hands to chase down children who don't want to part with their family jewels.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

pleasantly surprised at how easy it was

have never used a banderole, pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. In the past we have always been surgically castrated. It's much more humane, and although we use a castration tranquilizer in both cases, they always shut down for a few days. We give painkillers in both directions, but it was only necessary to castrate one night and then everything was fine. I've had dairy goats for about 30 years and now I understand how easy it would be :)

Pros
  • hand tools
Cons
  • will add later

Engineer never used!

The engineer did not take into account the size of the "marble bag". Works very well until you let go. the strip does not come off. very uncomfortable. You cannot detach the pouch with one hand to peel off the tape. is not closed enough to release the group itself, you must remove the group manually. I tie my calves at 2-3 days old so they are quite small. sent them back for a refund.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Works great!

Castrator tool works great. I have used it on our 3 week old Nigerian goat and my 1 week old Angus bull. Too bad I didn't use smaller bands as both walked around with junk for a while before the items grew large enough to be squeezed with a rubber band and thrown off. I think my goat is still dangling even though she's not getting any blood. I think the strips would be too small for adult neutering. In the future I will be buying smaller ribbons or doubling them up for my little boys.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Ring Pliers - 5 Stars

I never thought I would be reviewing castration ring pliers lol. I grew up on a farm. We used them to "tie" the boys, not to put them under the knife. Union with this device works very well by basically cutting off access to a certain type of manhood, and eventually that manhood just dries up and falls away. That being said, I did NOT buy this set of pliers for this. I bought them to ligate various urinary, reproductive, fecal, etc. tracts in deer processing. Yes, I said it - deer processing…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
