A nearly identical replacement for my 27 year old doorbell.

When I bought my house 10 years ago the bell was on the door but for some reason I never bothered to replace it. 10 minutes to find a replacement for Revain and it was so cheap I could hate it. When I went to photograph the old doorbell, I was surprised to find that it was an almost identical replacement - same bells, same circuitry, even the font for the terminals was identical. The only difference was the outer shell - the mine was a faded yellow, either due to age or because the house…

There may not be a problem with the bell.

Bought to replace a broken Melody electronic doorbell, there was intermittent interference and noise from the speaker. After installing this chime I had a constant loud buzz from the chime and it didn't work at all from the doorbell. Since this call didn't get good reviews, I was willing to send it back. It's not the same as sticking a toothpick in an airplane hanger. The wires are taut. I have two call buttons. One for the front and one for the back. The back is one color and the front is two-tone. Ding vs Ding Dong. It works as long as you mount this thing horizontally, not vertically. However. never mind Both front…

Compatible with Classic and Ring

This is my third doorbell in my home in 20 years. Replaced the original mechanical doorbell with a Home Depot digital one. My digital lasted about five years and bought the dust. A mechanical bell can hardly be surpassed in terms of reliability. Back to that mechanical doorbell. I easily paid half what I paid for my digital device and I bet this one lasts three times as long. As a bonus, this call has a classic ringtone! Remember - if you're replacing a digital doorbell and the door has a plain
