Triathlon suit Review good for sports

Bought the Pearl Izumi triathlon suit for use at IM Louisville. I am very happy with the performance and fit of this suit. The bike cushion is surprisingly thin, but still comfortable enough for long rides without the need for extra padding. The Intercool stuff really works. Very glad I made this purchase.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Great price

So inspired. but a bit disappointed.

Suit looks great. The price was reasonable for a Pearl i. The first clothes were amazing. The second time I wore it, I noticed some issues with the stitching and material. I hand washed the suit and hung it on a line to dry. I think I could wear the suit 10-12 times before the material is almost gone.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Useless features

Ideal for a first costume.

I have ridden several Sprint Tris over the past few years and have always worn Jammers. Since I competed in Olympic triathlons this year, I decided to wear a triathlon suit. It was wonderful. Smooth in the water, cool on the bike and on the run. I didn't have any friction issues either and the padding was adequate for both sprints and Olympic distances. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a good first triathlon suit without spending a ton of money.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not the best

Great tri suit for the price

I have had other tri suits and have seen several athletes wear Izumi suits during the various triathlons I have competed in. I bought this as a spare suit and have made it my main suit ever since. It fits well and the mesh back is breathable, which is very comfortable on hot bike and running routes. This suit also has lower back pockets for gel packs, eliminating the need for a larger racing belt with pockets. That can be annoying. The seams are strong and the suit flexes a little when you put…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Nice suit for triathlon! - Sport

Used 4 times so far. I wore it under my triathlon wetsuit and it's very comfortable. I like the two small pockets on the back where you can put your MP3 player, keys, Gus and other small items. iPhone 6 does not fit (only half). Dries amazingly fast. I run 10km, bike and swim and feel very comfortable (I wasn't wearing underwear). The pads are not thick but work well. Love the little square rubber inner pads that keep the seat of the pants from moving up, great idea. It also packs very well…

High Quality Triathlon Tracksuit

Let me start by saying that I think Pearl Izumi makes some of the highest quality items. I've been triathlon for 8 seasons, they all wear the same Pearl Izumi triathlon shorts; I also have a few cycling items (shoes, jerseys, jerseys) that have all lasted me many seasons. FYI: I never wear my jersey in the pool, chlorine is very aggressive to these fabrics. Tracksuits are around $20, Hooters $100-$300, so do yourself a favor and buy a poolside tracksuit. This is my first season in a tri suit…

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive
