Nice filter on filter housing

Very happy with this filter, added it before our softener and it catches a lot of 'dirt' but has a large enough capacity that it doesn't need to be changed often either . . I use 10 micron bags because I thought the 5 micron bags would clog up too quickly but next time I order I can switch to 5 micron bags but only after I get the 10 micron go out. .

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great system. More in box than shown

Great value for money on this machine. Comes with a bottom outlet valve and a top pressure gauge that tells you when to change the filter. Installed with a 1 micron filter on hire with well water and glacial mud in the water. Yes, glacial mud. Extremely small particles. The tenants are very satisfied with the performance of this bag filter system. I'm glad I didn't spend a lot of money elsewhere.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine

Great first stage for dirty water, saves money in the long run

Amazing Great! Of course it's expensive. But compared to buying a standard Big Blue filter and replacing an expensive mud filter every 2 months, it pays off! This is a so-called bag filter. It has a drain valve on the bottom and uses filter bags that serve the same purpose. They filter dirt and sediment and are very cheap, and since you can drain and rinse them, they last and last and last. So put one of these baddies in front of your more expensive filter. Let's say you make a two or three…
