Well fitted wrenches

My outboard motor is sometimes difficult to start. A starter installation is not intended for this. There is a 15/16 nut on top of the motor. I cut a hole in the lid with this tool and a cordless drill to get started.

Great addition to scrap or torque wrenches

Did exactly what I needed, providing a more accurate (selectable) angle for the torque wrench rather than having to work with just four 90Β° drive angles. Sometimes the torque wrench or the angle of the broken rod does not work and cannot be put in the right position.

It's a great tool at an affordable price

I use this ratchet head on a 1/2" drill bit to start chainsaws. I needed a ratchet as the flywheel nut comes loose and causes problems when the engine starts without it. It was the thinnest and the price dictated my decision. And it was right. Great tuff tool for my type of use

I kept borrowing it from a friend so I got my own.

Very happy with this guy. My buddy had one for a few years and we recently started working together. We are civilian contractors on naval aircraft and this is perfect for the speed controller when you can't keep turning it due to tolerance issues. I always borrowed it, so I ordered my own. I'll update if it doesn't hold up as well as my friend's tool, but I'm pretty sure. It's a lot cheaper than any other ratchet adapter I could find and well worth it.

DR ratchet adapter to start my generator

I have a 6500w Yamaha generator that I started with this adapter. For some reason it used to start easily from a battery, but not anymore. First I tried it with an 18 volt cordless drill. Not powerful enough so I used an electric drill which started the generator. You have to be careful because the generator will knock the drill out of your hand. So once it works, pull out the drill with the adapter attached! I don't know if a 24 volt drill will work. Much luck.

I bought it for a completely different application - starting a gas engine with a drill

I use it in conjunction with a drill to start a gas engine on various power tools. This tool allows you to start the engine with a ratchet without injuring the operator or the drill. I had several small gas powered tools that hadn't been used in a while. This allowed me to start the engines without exhausting myself. I was able to cut out the carbs, but it was easy and quick. Also, I always feel like I'm messing something up when I remove carbs and clean up. I'm not a great mechanic.
