GOOD SIZE RANGE BETWEEN 2 REAMERS

I got this set to have a bigger reamer than I have now. For the projects I've used them on, they've done a great job. The blades feel sharp, the reamers are well made and work as expected. I used heat shrink tubing on the T-handle to keep it from falling out of the top of the reamer, cheap, easy and works great. Good set, good price, well finished in my experience, I am satisfied.

Decent quality is best for reamers

This tool will probably get the job done at least a couple of times. It's not quite ready yet and final results for review will have to wait until I actually use it. This is sufficient for occasional use. Whether it's strong enough when used on steel remains to be seen. I don't currently do enough machine work to need this tool often. So all I can say is that I hope this continues for a while.

Pros
  • Manual reamers
Cons
  • Not sure

Strangely poor workmanship

Maybe they just sent me a defective but factory sharpened land on a thinner taper that doesn't even match the rake face. which *should* be a cutter, but because it *has no play* and has never been sharpened, it never will. Also, there are all the usual blunt edges and jags I usually see on low-end reamers, which is annoying but doesn't get in the way of the show.

Pros
  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • Obsolete model
