Great product for little ones! Fits nicely in our 72" hallway. You must read instructions. To get this far you must rotate the handle, release the button, and then pull the gate all the way to the closed position. You DO NOT have to hold the handle and pull at the same time. Twist the handle, release then pull it all the way to close, it's like a seat belt, if you stop it it won't move any further and you have to twist the knob again and try again.

I work as a nanny and the regular dog guards didn't work. I received them and they are amazing! However! They're not one-handed like they say. It was too difficult with one hand, but I really needed it to be able to move around the house! We drilled a hole and stuck a metal peg in, and NOW they're truly one-handed. This should not be advertised as a children's gate, it is misleading. My 1 year old ripped this out of the wall in the first 10 minutes by holding onto the net at the top and trying to climb over it. The recoil of the sliding gate hit my kid in the face, and the roll of the gate itself fell on him as it exited the wall. (The locking mechanism on the underside of the gate roller failed when the top part came out of the wall causing the entire roller to fall off.) 3 connection points were in wood

Our Boston LambChop has Cushing's Disease. This makes him very thirsty as it is unfair to put him in a box with the others. He loves sleeping with us but loves pushing his husband out of bed.
