I really like this unit. My air conditioner failed during the high season in Florida. This unit installed in 10 minutes and has been continuously blowing cold air for more than a month.

My review a year after purchase is just a warning to others because I cannot return it. Cooled down a few weeks after purchase but no more. Now it's more like a noisy fan. The size of my room corresponded to the stated capacity. I feel terrible about my decision and my loss.

It cools the room perfectly and is portable. Although you can move from room to room, you have to open the vent each time or buy one for each room. Drop this unit. the noise level is quite extreme. It's in my living room and I have to turn on the TV to hear it. All in all I would recommend this purchase

I am satisfied with this purchase. The package will be well packed and delivered on time, the package structure is very strong and well protected. Installation was easier than I thought, the air conditioner cooled my bedroom quickly and I was very comfortable with it. The sound of the speakers is normal, then it becomes very quiet when I turn on the sleep mode. The max mode is very cool, if I turn it on all night I recommend using the timer mode to set 1-2 hours before bed.

**Edited to add my electric bill went up when I used the window air conditioner. This conditioner is a bit noisy but very effective. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and it keeps the whole apartment cool despite being upstairs in the master bedroom. The humidity here is very high day in and day out so the water tank didn't overflow to the point that I had to empty it even though it's been running for 2 weeks straight. Installation was a breeze too. Definitely recommend.

Works great, noisy but likely to require air conditioning on heat exchanger surfaces and then allows air to flow through filters and fans indoors. I ordered an adapter for my apartment sliding door and got the wrong size. The unit sold here came with a hardware that is not large enough for my 8ft sliding door. ☆☆Edit☆☆Mold has formed on my device while working! Not sure how this happened as we know there is no mold anywhere else in our room! Our room started to smell like mildew and mold stains. Upon further inspection of the air conditioning fan, mold was found growing on the inside of each blade, and it began to grow on the louvers that direct the airflow. Edit: July 6, 2020 Ningpu 12000btu portable air conditioner stopped working after less than two months. And, of course, we've already passed our due return date. Even before the temperature rose to 90+, the device started to work more like a fan. The compressor turns on less often, and sometimes not at all, which significantly reduces the amount of cold air produced. Even when the compressor turns on, the air is no longer cold, just cool.
