Sturdy tooling and construction

Made the job very easy, found no defects. It has enough power to spin large flywheels and I don't see where it could break since you don't have to push that hard to get it to work. I used this to hold the flywheel in place while tightening the flywheel nut to 160 ft LBS and it worked great.

Pros
  • Can be used under a car.
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

C5 Corvette Handy Tool

This tool did an excellent job of keeping the flywheel in place making it a one man replacement. There is no need to attach a wrench to the front of the engine, simply insert this tool and press against the bell body (the Corvette has a two piece body). It would also work well if held as well.

Pros
  • Flywheel Turning Tool
Cons
  • Poor set

works as described good for tools and equipment

It's a little tricky considering my inspection cover is also partially installed under my gearbox but other than that it holds the flywheel perfectly in place and turns the caliper over said flywheel and remove the flexplate bolts. Although you'd probably be looking for a more substantial one if you're running bigger engines.

Pros
  • for manually turning the engine
Cons
  • crumpled

Great flywheel holder

Really great flywheel holder, used this when changing the flywheels on a 2017 Ford F-550 and had to hold it down to tighten the bolts in a specific pattern , no complaint but it feels a bit cheap other than really liking it and will definitely keep using it and it's a lot easier than rolling the dice jamming the crowbar.

Pros
  • Lever allows easy crankshaft rotation
Cons
  • Long wait

Absolutely useless

Virtually useless. I've tried using this at several different manufacturers to install a clutch and it just didn't work. The spring gets in the way and doesn't let the tooth on the handle side engage the flywheel so I cut it to make it easier, but the tooth on the lever only flexes when the flywheel bolts are tightened. Save time and money and get a Lisle 23800 spindle lathe that really delivers what it promises. What a new idea. Lisle 23800 hand wheel lathe

Pros
  • Can be used under the car
Cons
  • Later I will add

Works very well - Flywheel tool

Needed to start an engine that has sat for several years and this tool fitted perfectly. Much easier than turning the camshaft bolt at the front of the engine, mostly because there was more room to get the job done with the car on jack stands than trying to maneuver around the radiator, water pump and alternator. The tool has a solid construction and is excellent value for money. Also very easy to use. I paid an extra $3.99 for expedited shipping and got it the next day. I would recommend this…

Pros
  • For turning the engine by hand.
Cons
  • Sad Equipment

Clumsy but not functional

I bought this tool for use on stationary marine flywheels. Maybe it's because I'm left-handed, but it took me many times to use the tool to become "friends". The main problem with marine engine applications is that these flywheels tend to have stops, making the long handle of the tool annoying. There just isn't room for it, so getting the tip of the tool to engage the flywheel is nearly impossible three of the four times I've tested it. However, if you have space and hook the tool properly, it…

Pros
  • Strong and durable
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
