Easy install, great fuel economy

Received this product just in time for a very long 2000+ mile ride in my 2013 Avalanche. The immediate return of power to the vehicle was immediately noticeable. No more "lag" response from V4 mode (which got so bad I thought I was going to lose transmission). After replacing and upgrading the spark plugs, wires and even all the O2 sensors I took the chance to look at a lot of reviews and videos and it finally woke up the 5.3 I was used to from previous trucks. 18 yukon xl 5.3l has terrible strange noise when shifting the damper. The gearbox has been serviced twice and at the dealer. Now, using a special new liquid, repair the so-called breech. Long story short, my shifting was awful, I heard a sound like it was stuck in overdrive with light throttle. 30 - 40 mph and 50 - 62. Deceleration and acceleration with odd shifts. The final response from the dealers was "What the customer is experiencing is from V8 to V4 and that's fine." So I went online to…

Definitely worth the money

UPDATE: 12/24/2020 I've driven my car 2700 miles since I've had this adapter and I'm completely satisfied with it. It does what it's supposed to and always keeps the engine in V8 mode. I dived from Oklahoma to Colorado with no problems. In terms of fuel economy, before I had this adapter my average was 16.5mpg (calculated by hand, not with a computer) and after driving 1600 miles it averaged 15.5mpg, so brace yourself no worries about loss of efficiency. Kind of makes you wonder why you even…

2017 Gmc Sierra Denali 6.2

Just so everyone knows my truck has done 63,000 miles. Installed it on my truck within 4 days. To be honest, I personally haven't noticed any improvement in my truck's performance. If anything, I lost a bit of fuel economy and it seemed like my shift points were rougher than they already are (assuming those truck owners are aware of the transmission issues). I've noticed a sharp downshift especially sometimes when stopped at a traffic light or stop sign. The only spares on my truck are a k&n…
