Need faster curing time.

I would give more stars, but the curing time is too long for that. When I change the pad it doesn't seem to be in the off season but in the burn season. This product took 12 hours to cure, and then things were exposed to 500 degrees of heat day after day to complete the curing process. I can't leave the wood stove door all day while it heats my house. I installed this, a new gasket, and let the door sit for 30 minutes and then put it on a wood stove with a small fire for the next 24 hours…

Pros
  • Designed for 1090 °C (2000 °F)
Cons
  • Small things

Cautiously optimistic.

I simply applied this material and it worked as described. He's healing now and I'll report back after the first burn. But now it sticks well to stainless steel and iron. We'll see how good it is, but for now I'm very happy with how it applies and cleans. UPDATE: Test fire went well. WARNING this material stinks to high heaven on the first cure bake. Kicked us out of the house for a makeshift camp in the driveway. It took about 2 hours to cure and then the smell was gone. The print was amazing…

Pros
  • Can also seal small metal cracks or bond metal to metal.
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging.

Luckily it landed on the tile floor so I could clean it up. After that it came out in very small balls, almost a tight seal. I had to lubricate with a tool. The pieces of padding that I attached with a watery liquid seem to be holding up well. The one I attached with the little balls came off after 2 days. It…
