I like extra light emergency blankets that keep the body warm in cold weather or when injured, or on a sunny day reduce body heat absorption by reflecting the sun but not retaining body heat. . For that I need blankets that only reflect on one side, and they're surprisingly hard to find. I carefully and partially unrolled one of these to check what's on each side and they don't appear to be any thicker or heavier than a classic foil blanket. The orange side doesn't make them noticeably heavier.

This is better quality than other rescue blankets I've seen. It's a bit thicker, which I can attest is extremely important if you plan to rely on it in windy weather.
