🔐 Schlage Flair Bed & Bath Privacy Lock Lever in Bright Brass - F40 V FLA 605 Review

Bought these in bulk to replace all the door handles at my mom's house for ease of use when she gets older. Easy to install, I was able to teach my teenage nephew to help with the install.

I bought this handle to replace an old damaged door knob. As this is a newer version of the same pen (original was from 1999) it fits easily and fits snugly. Makes a well-made impression, the original would still be in use if it hadn't been damaged by the rough bodywork.

We've had the same Schlage doorknobs since we built our house 20 years ago. We haven't had any problems with any of the levers in the whole house! The finish on all of them looks brand new to this day. The only reason we ordered this was to replace a lever in the bedroom that didn't have a lock as it was a child's bedroom and we didn't want our little ones accidentally locked. Our "baby" is now 20 years old and wanted to close the bedroom door!

Great latch design that's almost timeless and very well constructed. It has a great finish with no blemishes and is easily adjusted for right or left handed use. Feels very solid when installed. Love the fact that it can be adjusted to 2 3/4" instead of just 2 3/8". The longer backset is a nice touch that is greatly appreciated. I've been using this lever design for many years and see no reason to change anything.

JUST INSTALLED 2 OF THEM AND ORDERING 6 MORE. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND DO NOT FEEL OR ROCK WHEN YOU TURN THE KNOB. IT WAS HARDER TO REMOVE THE OLD SCHLAGE HANDLES, THEN IT WAS TO INSTALL THE NEW. Love the fact that you can lock it from the inside and close the door to guard the room during the party and then just enter the PIN to unlock it when everyone's gone. NOT AS SECURE AS A KEY BUT PROTECTS LITTLE ONES. AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTABLE FOR THICK OR THIN DOORS.

I'm almost done with the door. I was almost thrilled that I was able to install it in 5 minutes. Now it takes a few days to send it back and get a new pen. As you can see in the picture, whoever or whatever threaded the bottom screw made it crooked. The screw goes no further than shown in the picture while the other goes in well (as it should). Because of this, I can't properly attach it to my door! How bad is whipping? Do you have quality control? If I return the product now if I don't get…

Schlage was intended to replace an existing bathtub handle. This Schlage grip assembly easily matched the previous one. The emergency key pin was strong and easy to use, unlike the previous one that required a special right-angle key that was easy to bend and easily twist the soft metal inner grooves. and it is difficult to get a new key if lost or damaged.
