Excellent sponges - clean perfectly!

I tested these sponges in my kitchen and wow! Sink, fridge and stove clean immediately! The hexagonal shape feels better in the hand than a traditional rectangle and also fits better in corners. I particularly like how the "raised side of the dot" rubs against the surface without scratching it. The side of the sponge is extremely absorbent, thicker and more durable than many sponges. I'm not a particularly talented housewife and these sponges make a huge difference! They are much easier to…

Very Good Sponge For Sponges

To be fair, these sponges are labeled scratch resistant, not scratch resistant. I think the same plastic dots that give cleaning that extra boost also add some potential for scratches. The cellulose sponge side and sponge feel the same or similar to unscratched sponges. As such, they would be useful as an alternative when those non-scratch pads were a little underpowered for certain tasks. I wouldn't use them for thin silver or china utensils, but cast iron or stainless steel pots and pans…

Professional, durable and economical

These professional sponges are available in three qualities: light, medium and strong. The ones I have are medium sized and are great for normal everyday kitchen tasks. I wiped down the inside of the sink with the rough side and the countertop with the smoother, spongy side. The hexagonal sponge fits easily in the palm of your hand and is a comfortable thickness. The cleaning material on the top helps keep my hands dry. The rough, scratchy pattern remains despite thorough cleaning. I was a…

Safe Sponges with Antibacterial Properties

Scotch-Brite Sponges have been used in every home I live in since I was a child. Common in our kitchen, laundry and cleaning baskets are yellow with a green scrubber side. Blue sponges with a darker blue soft side for scrubbing are new additions but are used regularly, mainly for matting stubborn dirt. The other blue dotted sponges are the gentlest and are ideal for protecting non-stick cookware that needs cleaning. They are also good for spot cleaning walls, electrical boxes etc where there is

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Nothing

Scratches plastic (tried on clear plastic cups). Will not scratch glass, enamel or porcelain. I like the shape, the large surface area and they are easier to use than square jaws. They differ from my usual cleaning sponges. They have small dots that seem more effective for getting rid of stuck dirt. Maybe it's because the sponge is on a smaller area (dots) than the whole sponge when you press, or maybe they're stiffer, I don't know why, but they clean well. I've used one to wipe up spilled…

Hex Appeal Houseware Good

At first I thought these dual-use Scotch-Brite sponges had one major advantage over the ones I usually buy from Home Depot — the spongy halves of these sponges don't seem to dry out and need moisture before you can use them to pick up spills. Unfortunately, that enduring flexibility seems to have disappeared after a week or two of work. You need to moisten them before use, just like other sponges. While Scotch touts the non-scratch side of these sponges, other reviewers seem to think they're…

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • No Instructions

This is a sponge with a cleaning pad on one side with raised hard plastic dots. The dishwashing pad is not very abrasive. Instead, the little plastic dots stick out a little, harden, and cling to the food. My husband has a habit of burning food on the bottom of pots and I must admit burnt food from pans. The dots are really good at catching the edges of the burned area where it's protruding and doesn't take much effort to remove even if a regular sanding pad wouldn't work. They advertise that…
