I lived on this device for a full 2 days when it worked. The remote control is broken and does not work even with new batteries. Since the remote control doesn't work, it needs to be turned on/off manually and only works at low speed. There is no way to manually run it at high speed. I'm so sad!

I feel like a dehumidifier junkie because I was so impressed with the smaller version that I bought the larger one. Excellent purchase. Quiet, efficient, easy to use, and I love the remote that stores magnetically on the side. I can't wait for summer because there will be no humidity in my bedroom.

I bought the smaller one for my bedroom, loved it and bought the larger one for my living room. I like the magnetic side that keeps the remote on the side of the car. Also, the light feature is great for knowing when to drain the water. Here in Texas it gets so muggy it saves lives. I like that the car is quiet. The size is also good, not big.

The dehumidifier works very well for its size. I was surprised how small it is but it works great in my small house. It has two speed settings, high and low, but I only use high speed. The remote control feels nice, along with an illuminated water level indicator. I hardly notice that it's running and can tell at a glance if it needs to be emptied. I recommend this if you have a small house or dehumidification room.

If you bought one of these and it has removed moisture from your home, good for you. You have one that really worked. Ours just warmed the room up 2 degrees. As advertised this is only for a small space as it does little to remove moisture from the air. It is quiet for a dehumidifier as only the fan motor makes noise. There is no compressor used in larger installations. It uses a thermoelectric device to cool the air. I have this in a very small enclosed space. The humidity was around 63 percent. The machine has no humidity setting. There is no reading or anything that indicates if it is working at all. The air coming out of the car is cold, while other humidifiers are usually warm air. I am very disappointed with this car. I hate sending things back but that doesn't do the job.
