    Works perfectly! best computer cable adapter

    Installed the CH340 drivers, plugged in the device, selected it in the Arduino ports and was able to flash the ESP-01/ESP8266 with no problems. Draws about 4.5mA when no device is connected, but I think it's a USB to serial chip. Surprised this isn't a standard device sold with these things. Definitely a tool worth having!

    Very simple, eliminates the guesswork of wiring pinouts

    This programming module was very easy to use without the complicated wiring of other programmers. Worked flawlessly with my ESP-01 modules.

Has an extra connector so you can plug it into the breadboard when plugged into the ESP-01(s) - sooooo handy (although I wish they were on opposite sides. No need to unplug and plug it back in Plug the program in.     ESP8266 Programming Simplified

    This device greatly simplifies ESP8266 programming. You no longer have to manually reset the ESP8266 and flip a switch every time you upload a sketch (USB version - Red). Just create and upload and you're done. The ESP8266 will automatically restart and run your code.

    I was afraid to order something without review

    All other programmers are adapters, not really programmers. This is a programmer and the software handles the button click so there is no need to click a button to boot from the Arduino IDE. The ESP01s module says 4MB Flash, I thought it wasn't a typo, it's not a typo, it has 4MB Flash. Used Arduino IDE with Windows 10, had no problems.
