I don't understand some of the negative reviews complaining about lack of sharpness etc. My razor turned out to be pretty sharp, but I had to cut it on the board with some kind of chromium oxide compound. You get what you pay for and in this case it's definitely worth the modest price. First the positives: The most important part, the blade, is definitely high quality stainless steel. I keep mine in a drawer in the bathroom and have NOT seen the slightest hint of discoloration after about a month.
