Good quality socket

High quality, durable head. Bought to replace the lower ball joints on my 1st gen Xterra. I love that it's a 1/2" drive, eliminating the need for a 3/4" adapter. If you have a Frontier or Xterra that you drive, this should definitely be in your toolbox.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Outstanding quality and performance

High quality heavy duty production. Was able to change trailer ball joint in less than 10 minutes. The bushing is a perfect match for my CURT weight distribution hitch and I was able to achieve the 450 ft-lbs of torque required to install the ball. This socket will definitely accompany me for the rest of my life.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • unreliable

This socket works great on Reese 66559 Steadi-Flex Weight-Distributing Hitch

I was a little hesitant to purchase this socket due to a reviewer having difficulty with the clearance required to attach it. However, this socket is ideal for a Reese 66559 Steadi-Flex hitch for weight distribution. Reese must have engineered it so his Steadi-Flex series could accept impact sockets.

Large, heavy 1/2 " washer.

This is a very heavy duty head. You won't hurt it anytime soon. I only use this for one purpose; removing the big ones Nut from a Harley Davidson Sportster belt drive sprocket. I needed one to fit my stun gun and Sunex are one of the few who make a head this size in a 1/2" drive. Excellent!

Pros
  • CR-MO alloy steel for durability

Heavy Duty Head in Individual Drive Heads

Had to purchase this impact head to fit my Tow Ready Reese 63840 Class V Chrome Hitch - 2-5/16" ball x 1-1/4" " x 2-3/4", Β£20,000 on my new 2.5" receiver. Blew my nitro gun then finished the job with a torque wrench. Excellent! We recommend. Very strong and high quality head.

Pros
  • Corner Design with Strength Radius
Cons
  • High Price

I was a little reluctant to purchase this hitch due to one reviewer having difficulty getting the clearance required to attach it. However, this socket is perfect for a Reese 66559 Steadi-Flex hitch for weight distribution. Reese must have designed his Steadi-Flex series to accommodate impact sockets.

Pros
  • Extends fastener life
Cons
  • Expensive
