Good solution for transporting your spare part

Easy to install and effective. This makes it difficult to open the glass hatch. This is the only downside. You have to open the hatch and then release the barn doors to open them fully. I installed the onboard air system in the original spare tire bracket under the van, so it's a great solution for moving the spare tire.

Pros
  • Solid one piece construction
Cons
  • Not bad

Great fit and price.

Works great, easy to install. I added wing washer size rubber washers and nylon locknuts to make it more secure and less squeaky. I will get longer bolts to attach the rim. The ones that came with the rail could barely tighten the nut's threads. A larger than standard off-road tire fits perfectly with toe room over the bumper. Does not touch the rear light when open.

Pros
  • Durable black powder coat finish.
Cons
  • Without automatic control.

Fits a full size spare tire on a 2002 Chevy Astro with gullwing doors.

Installed easily on the rear doors of my 2002 Chevy Astro. It's actually pretty sturdy with a full-size spare and I'm comfortable knowing it won't fly away. A 1/4" flat piece of steel was used on the inside of the door as a washer. This gets 3 stars because it started to rust after about 2 weeks of installation. Over time, the paint has peeled off significantly and there is rust underneath The rest works as intended.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Compatibility
