Description of 🌙 Sleepy Animals Weighted Blanket for Kids - Sweetzer & Orange 7lbs Heavy Blanket, Ideal for 58-88lb Children - Warming and Cooling Weighted Comforter with Minky Cover

A SOOTHING TOUCH WITH DREAMY DESIGN: We combine restful weight with a minky dot cover and 3 gorgeous Sleepy Prints so your kids get the caring hug they crave. JUST THE RIGHT WEIGHT: Kids love a weighted blanket when it is just the right weight (8-12% of total body weight) and when the weight is distributed evenly across the blanket. View our range of kids’ weighted blankets because we have 2 weights to choose from: 5lb (for 42-63lb child), 7lb (for 58-88lb). The cover will add an extra 1.25lb / 1.75lb. Go ahead and choose your kid’s perfect CareHug now. SUMMER COOL AND WINTER WARM: You’ll receive both a blanket AND a cover! The CareHug Blanket is silken cotton, breathable for the warmer months, with a minky cover to snuggle in for winter. The underside of the cover features nubbed minky “dots” that kids find extra soothing. Choose your favorite cover: Sleepy Dinosaurs, Sleepy Animals, or Yawning Unicorns!. WON’T LEAK BEADS: Each blanket grid is precisely weighed with odorless, non-toxic glass microspheres and put through extreme testing to ensure that our reinforced stitching will never leak. And unlike many weighted blankets, where beads clump, ours distributes the beads evenly across each grid. A DEEP HUG, JUST FOR ONE: Our kids’ heavy blanket is designed to make your child feel embraced. Each blanket is an exact size to fit the kid, not the bed. So go ahead, select your child’s recommended weight, and choose from our Sleepy Dinosaurs, Sleepy Animals, or Yawning Unicorns print for a CareHug your child deserves.

Best Weighted Blanket

My son with ASD loves it! The weight is evenly distributed and he likes the soft feel. We have tried many weighted blankets and this is the best we have found. He really likes dinosaurs and the sleeping dinosaurs on this blanket are a great touch. We will buy more!

changed our lives! - Blankets & Sheets

Our doctor recommended a weighted blanket for one of our children. He had trouble falling asleep at night and would stay awake in his bed for more than an hour and then wake up upset. The first night we used him I kept getting up to check on him because he slept like a log in his bed for 5 hours! The next night he slept even longer, and when he woke up he was quietly walking down the corridor and dragging his new blanket into our room. Since we bought him he has had the best and most restful…

The best sleep is sheets

My 8 year old granddaughter can't turn off her brain to get a good night's sleep. She hasn't slept in years. A few years ago she was diagnosed with ADHD. I have heard about these blankets and their calming effect on children with ADHD, autism etc. They are too expensive for my daughter so I decided to buy her one hoping it would help her sleep better. My daughter said she got a blanket for Christmas, climbed under it and for the first time in years took a nap and slept 3 hours. She's sleeping…

ATTENTION TO ALL PARENTS WITH ASD/ADHD/SPD:

I berated myself why it took me so long to buy a weighted blanket for my 5 year old autistic daughter and sensory looking son. My daughter has been up all night for years and I couldn't believe she slept 10 straight hours on her first night with this weighted blanket! I've searched everywhere for a WASHABLE baby blanket because we all know kids spill things at night or get into accidents and this is the only Revain baby blanket that's washable. The cover is so soft and the sleepy animal prints…

Weighted blankets have changed our lives

The blanket is so soft and cozy. My son loves sleeping dinosaurs. But the change came in a dream. My 3.5 year old has had trouble falling asleep for the past 6 months and has had trouble sleeping through the night since birth. The first night he used the blanket, he found it easier to fall asleep, and in a week it took no more than 10 minutes. His nightmares have lessened and since he started using it he no longer needed us to get him back to sleep in the middle of the night. We also use him to

Perfect fit for my 4 year old with sensory issues

Bought for my 4 year old with sensory issues. Bedtime was always a struggle for him: getting up several times to delay falling asleep or waking up several times during the night because he couldn't sleep. This sleep deprivation, in turn, caused him to behave throughout the day. I even went so far as to give him melatonin because he wouldn't fall asleep several hours after bedtime. He has been using his weighted blanket for almost a week now and is sleeping much better. He falls asleep within an

A must for children who need getting used to!

My 3 year old sleeps much better with this blanket! He would struggle to sleep, tossing and turning, asking for snacks and tossing and turning in bed for 1-2 hours each night before eventually falling asleep. It was also very difficult for him to get a nap in the kindergarten. So much so that our caregiver offered to do a sleep study on him. He tossed and turned the first night but didn't fall asleep until halfway through. The next couple of nights had ZERO toss and turn! He literally got under

Sturdy construction, good weight distribution, comfortable and cute cover

We just got a blanket for our son with ASD who needs a warmer option for the upcoming cool weather and hopefully the weight will help him too to sleep longer. So far the duvet and cover are exactly what we were looking for. They both washed well in our machine cold and the comforter air dried well (the cover dried well in our dryer on low). I love the design of the quilt! It appears to be very well made and is comfortable to lay on even without the super soft mink cover. The cover is adorable…

Excellent quality, but a bit small - then the problem is solved!

After reading many reviews about different weighted blankets and their effectiveness for children and adults with ADHD, ASD and anxiety, I bought a 5 pound blanket for my 7 year old son who has ADHD and sleep problems Has. I've been waking up at night lately. When it arrived I found that it was too short for him because he is tall and I think this duvet size is better for toddlers (less than 1.20m tall) but as regulations require a weight for safety reasons, this has been marked as the correct…
