Consistent results and competitive pricing

I have used this product to run VGA video from my security system and mouse back into my master bedroom at home. I use many devices from different brands and this worked just like the others I use and the price was very competitive. Because it worked so well, I bought two more of these for my business. I've only used it on a line of about 120ft, so I'm not sure how it will perform at the advertised 984ft range.

Simple and very effective

This is a very simple but very effective CAT5 KVM extender. Very easy to install and works right out of the box. I've tried several KVM extenders over the years. Some of them are very complex and difficult to set up. It's simple, clear and works. I also like the adjustable signal gain. This is one of the cheapest and most effective extenders I've ever bought. Thumbs up!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Defective devices: Computer components

Bought two devices, both transmitters failed after 2 or 3 weeks, the manufacturer mentions that it was a mistake, I have decided to take them for granted. and change the supplier of this product.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Was damaged

horrible transmission signal

reinstalled with a Cat6 KVM extender and the picture was terrible. Only 250 feet. Replace the block with another manufacturer, everything works. Do not buy this device, no adjustments will help the signal!

  • acceptable
Cons
  • good but not great

Very disappointed product did not work properly

with cat 6 cable and very good connectors works just under 100 feet and finally tested and does not work as advertised and nothing, restarted and turned on until you move the mouse and power cycle until it restarts, no troubleshooting or support phone number telling me I've now spent time and money on this product, lesson learned, no one I don't recommend this product to buy!

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Died after 11 months

It worked fine, give us access to the KVM which was in the rack in the server room. The quality was ok, but only for random access to the server.

Pros
  • Fast replacement
Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank

Just received a month ago. Run 100 feet with good gear on both sides. During initial setup and because I wanted to test before a full install, the receiver's final monitor did not show a clear image. It was the gain switch. It takes a little while to get it right. However, after the final installation and most likely due to the higher line impedance due to the run length, the gain switch provided adequate video stability. I would recommend.

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

USB A/B cable not included

The product itself works as advertised (unlike the first one I ordered from another company). My only complaint is that no USB A/B cable is included. I didn't read the packaging details carefully enough, but they may have indicated that the cable must be purchased separately and described the type of cable required for remote use of the USB functions (keyboard and mouse). I spent $25 on cable at the last minute because my install is the first thing I have to do in the morning. IF YOU WANT TO…

  • The list goes on.

Easy setup, works great UPDATE MY REVIEW after 4 months of use

After 4 months of use, my monitor started turning off and on every few seconds. I can connect to the NVR through my computer and it doesn't change there, so that's the device. I've tried changing cables and gain but the video still disappears. Very disappointed. I have a number of CCTV cameras that are powered from the base unit so 8 camera views are displayed on the monitor. I wanted the unit itself to be in a place where bad guys couldn't easily get to it, so I used this extension cord to get
