Simplifies installation and provides confidence in reliability

This simplifies installation. A light tap, a few turns with the screwdriver and that's it. Yes, much better than a flimsy hammer that bends and breaks half the time. The screws have quite a large head, so be aware that some items with mounts that the screw fits into may not fit properly. Make sure you get the right size for the job and you won't regret it!

  • Weight

Much better than they look.

They might look like the ones in the big stores that they screw into the walls. But they are much better. They don't overload as easily as others and don't strip as easily. As you ride, insert the screw, you will hear a click as the halves pull apart. This will help hold the switch in the drywall. and prevents it from expanding. They may be a bit more expensive than cheap ones, but cheap is the working word when describing others.

it really works: fasteners

I've been using them almost exclusively for heavier items lately. The reason these types of anchors are better is because the threads are deep and sharp, so they actually dig into the drywall without destroying it. Once the screw is screwed in, it drives it even deeper into the drywall, ensuring a secure connection. Your typical plastic dowel will usually have a few friction ribs, but use a strong drill/screwdriver and you'll see how easily they turn uselessly. these don't have the problem…

Good anchorage in the latches

Properly fitted they are a blessing. If not, then it's a nightmare. How to do it right? 1. Use a stud finder to look for studs or electrical wires. If you try to drill them into a stud you will have a big mess in your drywall as they leave a big hole because they don't penetrate the wood. 2. Pre-drill the hole with a 3/16 bit. You don't have to, but it will make your life a lot easier. First, you can place the anchor better because the drill bit is more accurate, and second, you don't leave as…

I maintain shelves throughout the house

I have shelves all over my house for different purposes. From the heavy shelves in the laundry room holding 100 pounds of laundry and detergent to the shelves above my bar holding dozens of bottles of liquor. Everyone now has this Toggler SnapSkru. I even replaced some cheap, useless anchors with them after I bought them. A NOTICE. I would definitely drill a pilot hole for them rather than relying on the self-drilling (giggity) feature to place the anchor exactly where you want it. Drill a…

It's great until you go. Breaks your wall

They're definitely great for holding heavy objects and I find their weight capacity is definitely spot on. The technology is amazing and the crack you hear as the screw turns is oddly satisfying. My problem with this product is that the plastic screws often break. You have to hammer them in and once screwed in (to the start of the screw) you can just drill them into the drywall. I cracked about 3 out of 6 of them before pre-drilling a half inch hole to prevent them from snapping before screwing

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Has issues

great anchors and I have a few tips for you. I LOVE THESE ANCHORS

is cheaper than my local store so it's a great buy. ordered this in connection with my film to a new house. I had the box very quickly and was able to hang my televisions on the wall straight away. These anchors are very, very strong, don't leave a crazy hole and I love how easily and precisely they go in. These dowels allow you to attach an ax to the wall level and center where you want the screw to be, and once you're in, the screw ends almost exactly. I have a mirror with two keyholes that…

The only drywall anchors I will buy, the rest will only disappoint me.

They are very similar but much better to other anchors you may use. After using them I won't buy anything else. This is an excellent product and if you need to fix anything in drywall this is the one you should buy. I've installed hundreds of drywall anchors over the years, so I've become somewhat of an expert on them. They always get the job done with minimal effort. If possible, I pre-drill a hole to put them in. This is not required but will make installation easier. I use a drill slightly…

These are great for securing heavy items and I find their weight capacity is definitely spot on. Oddly satisfying when the screw kicks in My problem with this product is that the plastic screws often break. You are supposed to drive them in with a hammer and once screwed in (up to the screw socket) just drill into the hole. Drywall. I cracked about 3 out of 6 of them before... Wall mount without cleats

I don't want to bother finding cleats or the design/placement requires them on drywall to be attached. They are significantly stronger than your typical drywall screw + thinner anchor. Ideal for IKEA wall mounting. I used them to attach various IKEA wall cubes (about 10 pounds each) to the 50 year old crumbling drywall/plasterboard in my apartment. With two for each cube, it easily supports the weight of closet shelves, plus it's filled with heavy hardcover books AND my 15 pound cats jump on…
