Good Price - T-Nuts

I bought these to use on my original 8020 series 10 (1 inch) rails. You'll have to fiddle with them a bit to get them to grip as they aren't designed for 1" (25.4mm) rails but once they bite they work great. They're definitely cheaply made being about 20% of they're cut at the wrong angle, for the price I'm willing to live with that.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some Imperfections

Use these in place of 5mm square nuts so you don't go nuts.

Used these when converting my Anet A8 to AM8 2040 Extrusion. I'm glad I went with them so I could add details later without taking things apart. Some of them were warped, but I've used them on non-essential parts like the LCD case. Spend a few bucks more and get a little more versatility with these 5mm+ Square Nuts. Square nuts are very difficult to extrude and I quickly gave up on them.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Useless features

Threads Small diameter Significantly oversized

These parts came with oversized threads. They were cut with an M4 but the starter drill was much larger than it should have been. I had about 40-50 from this batch that just didn't work. You start tightening the bolt and it doesn't develop any real preload before it fails. I measured the hole diameter of some of them and they were in the 3.6-3.8mm range when they should be in the 3.3-3.5mm range. Luckily I had a few other T-Nuts left over from another project and was able to successfully…

Cheap in price and quality, but they fit OpenBuilds V-groove profiles

First, and probably most important to many, is that they fit OpenBuilds V-groove profiles. They are nearly identical in shape to the male tees that Openbuilds sells/supplies and for about 10% the cost per nut. This prize is not without its own costs, however. There were a few small metal shavings in the bag that appear to have been left over from threading. When testing some nuts I noticed that about 20-30% of the nuts were difficult to tighten due to dirty threads and some pushed out bits of…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Empty
