Sizes: When choosing the size I used the chart as a guide, not what I usually wear. I'm usually a plus size. But judging by the chart, I'm XXL in these shorts. They appear to be well made and fit my son well. I ordered him a small size. He usually wears a small men's or youth size 14/16. The material is similar to swimming trunks. The material is light and comfortable. There is a lining on the inside which means you can become a commando if you wish as it looks like it is sewn into the briefs. The MoFiz workout shorts are made of 95% polyester, 5% elastane and have a drawstring closure. They have an integrated mesh and two pockets. jogging and outdoor activities. I like the color and quality. My problem is that they are too big. They appear to be larger, at least a size larger than what I ordered. The size issue isn't the waist; those are sack legs. Overall they look good and are well made, but are just too big.
